Welcome to The Victorianist, a blog for graduate students interested in all things Victorian: cultural, literary, political, scientific, artistic. It is hosted by Nicole Bush (University of Durham) and Allison Neal (Hull University),  Postgraduate Representatives on the executive committee for the British Association for Victorian Studies (BAVS).

The Victorianist was founded by Alison Wood (Cambridge) and Claire Wood (York University), who continue to be ‘special correspondents’ for the blog.

Please do get in touch if you would like us to post information related to postgraduate work in Victorian subjects – book suggestions, call for papers, events, conferences, and reading groups.
