A one-day meeting exploring C. L. Dodgson’s interests in and contributions to science

This full-day meeting will bring together international speakers in order to examine the life and work of Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) from a scientific perspective. Speakers include: David Singmaster, Robin Wilson, Francine Abeles, Edward Wakeling, Ivor Grattan-Guinness, Mark Richards, and Eugene Seneta. The meeting will end with a panel discussion which will include the Carroll biographer, Jenny Woolf.
The event is organised by Amirouche Moktefi (Nancy and Strasbourg Universities), Mark Richards (Chairman, Lewis Carroll Society) and Robin J Wilson (Keble College, Oxford and Open University).
