Reparative Practices: Reading, Living, Loving
This FREE one-day event on Monday 20th June at the University of Cardiff will explore the art and philosophy of the reparative. Building on Eve Sedgwick’s exploration of the interweaving of paranoid and reparative critical modes, we’ll respond to the call for non-dualistic thought, and for exploratory ways of being and thinking that embrace deferral, digression and inconclusiveness.
Our keynote speaker is Ann Cvetkovich, author of ‘An Archive of Feelings: Trauma, Sexuality, and Lesbian Public Cultures’ (2003) and ‘Depression: A Public Feeling’ (2012).
