Irish Network for Nineteenth-Century Studies (INNS) Inaugural Event

The INNS Inaugural Symposium has been designed as a study day to allow Irish-based scholars of all areas and regions of the nineteenth century to discuss their work and the state of the field.

The day is built around work in progress sessions, a reading group, and one keynote paper presented by Dr Caroline Sumpter of Queens University Belfast. The event closes with a wine reception to celebrate the launch of the network. Please see the schedule below for details of the Symposium events:

10:30am Works in Progress Quickfire Sessions I
12:00pm Lunch
1:00pm Works in Progress Quickfire Sessions II
2:30pm Coffee Break
3:00pm Reading Group (reading to be made available to participants)
4:30pm Plenary Session – Dr Caroline Sumpter, Queens University Belfast
6:00pm Official INNS Launch and Drinks Reception
7:30pm Symposium Dinner
